There is an immediate opening for Drilling Engineers & Senior Drilling Engineers.
Duties
Design wells, specify equipment and procedures, and prepare drilling programs.
Interface with other drilling/completion specialists, reservoir development team, operations personnel, and HES as required to ensure drilling activities are consistent with overall project development objectives.
Prepare detailed well estimates.
Solicit and evaluate bids for drilling services and equipment.
Perform and facilitate rig scheduling, drilling permit applications, selection of drilling locations and associated planning.
Perform drilling supervision and support as required.
Evaluate and implement new technology as appropriate to improve drilling performance.
Compile, analyze, and report drilling performance metrics.
Develop & implement new drilling & completion well designs strategies to add value to development operations.
Technical liaison with service providers
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related field
Three or more years of experience in the Petroleum Industry
Planning and implementation of drilling and completion programs for vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells in fields with flowing wells (oil & gas), water and gas injection, and various forms of artificial lift
Proven team player capable of working in a multi-discipline, multi-company, multi-national team environment to select and apply appropriate technologies for the development of additional reserves
Self-starter with a strong desire to deliver superior results
Proven ability to develop & assist in implementing creative engineered drilling, completion & work over plans
Knowledgeable with a wide range of drilling, completion and artificial lift technologies
Cost effective/efficient attitude and approach
Willingness to relocate domestically and/or internationally for future assignments
